Jerry Goble of Tippecanoe, Indiana passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at 1:43 p.m. at Vibra Hospital of Fort Wayne, Indiana at the age of 57.
He worked for Dalton Foundries in Warsaw, Indiana for 30 years, and was a member of Grace Outreach in Tippecanoe, Indiana.
Jerry was born on September 18, 1955 in Floyd County, Kentucky to Argie Goble and Lucille (Burchett) Thomas. He was married in Clintwood, Virginia on April 16, 1977 to Debbie Sherman, who survives in Tippecanoe, Indiana.
He will also be lovingly remembered by his son: Jerry (wife Michelle) Goble (Warsaw, Indiana); one daughter: Amanda (husband James) Scarberry (Bourbon, Indiana); and four grandchildren: Lyda & Ayden Scarberry and Lucas & Abby Goble. Also surviving are four brothers: Kennith (wife Dinah) Goble (Tippecanoe, Indiana); Johnnie (wife Loranna) Goble (Pierceton, Indiana); Billy Joe (wife Rhonda) Goble (Warsaw, Indiana); and Roy (wife Kay) Thomas (Etna Green, Indiana). He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father: Galen Thomas, and his sister: Virginia Hall.
His visitation will be held on Sunday, January 27, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana.
His funeral service will be conducted on Monday, January 28, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home and officiated by Pastors Bob Haywood, Bob Brown, Luther Bailey, and Larrie Kreft. Burial will follow at Tippecanoe Cemetery, in Tippecanoe, Indiana.
Memorial donations in Jerry’s name may be directed to the Animal Welfare League of Kosciusko County, 3489 E. 100 S., Pierceton, Indiana 46562 and would be appreciated by his family.
