Mollie Jane Wright

Mollie Jane Wright of Claypool, Indiana passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Grace Village Health Care in Winona Lake, Indiana at the age of 86.

She was a resident of Kosciusko County, Indiana for the past 54 years, where she was a homemaker and a member of the Free United Baptist Church of Pierceton.

She was born on March 6, 1926 in West Prestonsburg, Kentucky to Benjamin Franklin Rose and Arena (Conley) Rose. On July 27, 1944 she was married to Henry Bascon Wright, who passed away on February 28, 1989.

She will be lovingly remembered by her four sons: Phillip (wife Betty) Wright (Franklin, Kentucky); Larry (wife Becky) Wright (Warsaw, Indiana); Lester (wife Rhoda) Wright (Leesburg, Indiana); George Wright (Pierceton, Indiana); two daughters: Elizabeth “Liz” (husband Tom) Keirn (Warsaw, Indiana); and Henrietta (husband Jack) Bumgardner (Sidney, Indiana). Also surviving are seventeen Grandchildren, thirty-seven Great-Grandchildren, and one Great-Great Grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter: Bernice Taylor Howard, and a granddaughter: Hannah Paige Wright.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Free United Baptist Church, 7035 South State Road 13, Pierceton, Indiana.

Her funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Free United Baptist Church, Pierceton, Indiana and officiated by Pastor Ward “Etsie” Allen and Pastor Alvin “Hoss” Allen. Burial will follow at Sidney Cemetery, Sidney, Indiana. Her funeral arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana.

Memorial donations in Mollie’s name may be directed to Free United Baptist Church, 7035 South State Road 13, Pierceton, Indiana 46562 and would be appreciated by her family.
