Wendall D. Klinger of Warsaw, Indiana passed away at 4:05 p.m. on Sunday, November 24, 2013 at his residence at the age of 56.
He was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, Indiana and worked for 35 years for Dalton Foundries of Warsaw and was working as the Lead Utility Laborer until his passing.
He was born on April 4, 1957 in Warsaw, Indiana to Duane Klinger, who survivies and the late Shirley (Hively) Rohrer who died in 2002. On December 23, 1978 he was married to Dawn M. Grubbs, who survives in Warsaw.
He will also be lovingly remembered by his two sons: Steve Klinger (Warsaw, Indiana); Erik Klinger (South Whitley, Indiana) and seven grandchildren: Wyatt & Wayne Klinger, Willow Allen, Wesley & Blaze Farthing, Jordyn Elser and Christopher.
Also surviving is his father: Duane Klinger (Ohio); two brothers: Rock (wife Bev) Klinger (Three Rivers, Michigan); Kevin Klinger (Warsaw, Indiana); and four sisters: Deb Klinger (Colorado); Pam (husband Mark) Fulk (Sidney, Indiana); Karen (husband Pat) Ihnen (Silver Lake, Indiana); Kathy Drake (Atwood, Indiana). He was preceded in death by his mother and step-father Shirley & Vern Rohrer; and his daughter Melissa Grubbs.
His funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana and officiated by Pastor Terry Bradford. There will be visitation prior to the service on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw.
