Delfino Juarez Obituary

Delfino Juarez of Warsaw, Indiana passed away at home surrounded by his loving family at 8:36 a.m. on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at the age of 78. 

He was born on September 10, 1945, in Apaseo el Alto, Guanajuato, Mexico to Gavina (Rico) and Casimiro Juarez.  At the young age of 22, Delfino married Petra Patino and they were blessed with 55 years of marriage together. 

Delfino was a hard-working and responsible man his entire life.  He was a farmer in Mexico and enjoyed his family and life there.  He wanted more opportunities for his growing family and moved to the United States for a better life.  Delfino always took care of his family and worked various jobs throughout his life from building boats, working in restaurants to working for the railroad.  In 1986 he had the opportunity to become a U.S. Citizen along with his wife and family and was very proud to have accomplished that!  

He lived in Kosciusko County, Indiana since 1996 where he enjoyed spending time in his garden and especially spending time with his family and grandchildren.  He attended Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Warsaw and always had faith in his Lord through hard times and good times.  Delfino dearly loved his wife, and after he suffered a stroke, she was always at his side caring for him until he took his last breath.  His children and grandchildren cared for him as well and Delfino will forever be loved and remembered as a wonderful husband, father, brother and friend. 

He leaves behind his wife, Petra Juarez (Warsaw, IN); three sons, Andres Juarez; Roberto Juarez, Jose (Elvira) Juarez; three daughters, Eva Juarez, Fabiola Juarez, and Cinthia Juarez (all of Warsaw, IN).  Also surviving are fourteen grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and two brothers, Dionisio and Leon Juarez (Mexico).  He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, and several brothers, and sisters.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana.  Delfino’s life will be celebrated with a Mass of Christian Burial at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, February 23, 2024, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 225 Gilliam Drive, Warsaw, Indiana and celebrated by Father Wilson Corzo.  A graveside service will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, 421 N. Maple Avenue, Warsaw.

Delfino Juárez de Warsaw, Indiana, falleció en su casa rodeado de su querida familia a las 8:36 a. m. del martes 20 de febrero de 2024, a la edad de 78 años.

Nació el 10 de septiembre de 1945 en Apaseo el Alto, Guanajuato, México, hijo de Gavina (Rico) y Casimiro Juárez. A la edad de 22 años, Delfino se casó con Petra Patiño y fueron bendecidos con 55 años de matrimonio juntos.

Delfino fue un hombre trabajador y responsable toda su vida. Era agricultor en México y disfrutaba de su familia y de la vida allí. Quería más oportunidades para su creciente familia y se mudó a los Estados Unidos en busca de una vida mejor. Delfino siempre cuidó de su familia y trabajó en varios trabajos a lo largo de su vida, desde construir barcos, trabajar en restaurantes hasta trabajar para el ferrocarril. En 1986 tuvo la oportunidad de convertirse en ciudadano estadounidense junto con su esposa y su familia y ¡estaba muy orgulloso de haberlo logrado!

Vivía en el condado de Kosciusko, Indiana desde 1996, donde disfrutaba pasar tiempo en su jardín y especialmente pasar tiempo con su familia y sus nietos. Asistió a la Iglesia Católica Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe en Warsaw y siempre tuvo fe en su Señor en los momentos buenos y difíciles. Delfino amaba entrañablemente a su esposa, y después de sufrir un derrame cerebral, ella estuvo siempre a su lado cuidándolo hasta su último aliento. Sus hijos y nietos también lo cuidaron y Delfino siempre será amado y recordado como un maravilloso esposo, padre, hermano y amigo.

Deja atrás a su esposa, Petra Juárez (Warsaw, IN); tres hijos, Andrés Juárez; Roberto Juárez, José (Elvira) Juárez; tres hijas, Eva Juarez, Fabiola Juarez y Cinthia Juarez (todas de Warsaw, IN). También le sobreviven catorce nietos, un bisnieto y dos hermanos, Dionisio y León Juárez (México). Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, un hijo y varios hermanos y hermanas.

El velorio se llevará a cabo de 4:00 a 7:00 p.m. el jueves 22 de febrero de 2024 en Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana. La vida de Delfino se celebrará con una Misa de Christian Entierro a las 8:30 a.m. del viernes 23 de febrero de 2024 en la Iglesia Católica Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, 225 Gilliam Drive, Warsaw, Indiana y será celebrada por el Padre Wilson Corzo. Seguirá un servicio junto a la tumba en el cementerio Oakwood, 421 N. Maple Avenue, Warsaw, Indiana.
