Roger Hyde Obituary

Roger E. Hyde of Plymouth, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka, Indiana at the age of 62.

He was born June 11, 1961, in Warsaw, Indiana to Richard “Dick” and Barbara (Grubbs) Hyde.  A former resident of Kosciusko County, Indiana, he graduated from Warsaw High School in 1979.

Roger was a trusted and longtime employee of RR Donnelley & Sons (LSC Communications) in Warsaw for over 40 years.  Most recently he worked there as a Customer Service Representative.  Roger formed many lasting friendships with his work family and was always a good and loyal friend.  He was a strong advocate and even testified before Congress for the rights of people with disabilities.  Roger loved playing golf, was a great bowler, and always had a great time bowling with his buddies from Pretty Lake Country Club.  Roger dearly loved his son, Josh, and enjoyed taking him to the club to hang out with the guys.  He enjoyed life, and will forever be remembered as a great dad, brother and friend.

Roger leaves behind his son, Josh Hyde (Warsaw, IN); former wife, and mother of Josh, Bambi Hyde (Warsaw, IN); former wife, Angie Hyde (Plymouth, IN); as well as two sisters, Robin Eaks (Mt. Juliet, TN), and Molly Mortimer (Biloxi, MS).

Roger was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Bob Hyde.
