Claudia Marie Wrobel

Claudia Marie Wrobel of Winona Lake, Indiana passed away at 8:50 a.m. on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Kosciusko Community Hospital of Warsaw at the age of 71.

She was born on February 16, 1947 in Warsaw, Indiana to Alexander Landa and Winifred “Winnie” Marie (King) Landa.  She was married in October 1981 to Douglas William Wrobel, who survives.

Claudia was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, Indiana where she was a 1965 graduate of Warsaw High School.  After graduation she attended Beauty College in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  For a number of years she worked at Crownover Jewelry in Warsaw and was also a great animal lover.  Claudia was a very friendly person, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother…and will be dearly missed by all.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 36 years, Douglas "Doug" Wrobel (Winona Lake, Indiana); four sons:  David Creighton (Atlanta, Georgia); Brandon (wife Rachelle) Creighton (Warsaw, Indiana); Kevin (wife Michelle) Wrobel (Lithia, Florida); Erich Wrobel (Colorado); and two daughters:  Tara Creighton (Winona Lake, Indiana); Kerri (husband Chris) Wilson (Winona Lake, Indiana).  She also leaves behind eight grandchildren:  Shelly, Brady, and Landon Creighton; Tristan, Preston, and Reagan Wilson; Jonathan and Thomas Wrobel.  She was preceded in death by her parents.           

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 from 11:00 – 1:00 p.m. at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana.

Her funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home and officiated by Pastor Jeff Pfeifer.  Burial will follow with a graveside service at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw.
