Donna Jean Lehman

Donna Jean Lehman of Warsaw, Indiana went home to be with the Lord when she passed away at her residence surrounded by family at 9:05 p.m. on Thursday, November 23, 2017 at the age of 75.

She was born on March 9, 1942 in Columbus, Ohio to Samuel Walter Baggs and Waveline Marie (Siebert) Baggs.  She was married to William Paul Lehman Sr. and later divorced.  They had three children together and she is survived by their son:  William Paul (wife Susan) Lehman, Jr. (Winona Lake, Indiana); two daughters:  Collette Jane (husband Kenneth) Olson (Winona Lake, Indiana); and Lynelle Joy (husband Ryan) Peugh (Montclair, Virginia).

Also surviving are twelve grandchildren; and her brother:  Walter Ray (wife Charlene) Baggs (Lewis Center, Ohio)

She was preceded in death by her parents and one granddaughter. 

Donna attended Grand Rapids School of Bible and Music for three years, and worked as a secretary for Bartel Printing Company in Warsaw from 1975-2007.  She was a member of Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church where she was active in the group Women of Grace for Missions, as well as being active in a number of prayer groups, she sang in the choir, and very much enjoyed working in children’s ministries.  Donna was a member of the Winona Literary Club.  She was very loved and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.            

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 27, 2017 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana.

Her funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church, 1200 Kings Highway, Winona Lake, Indiana and officiated by Pastor Bruce Barlow.  Burial will follow with a graveside service at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw.

Memorial donations in Donna’s name may be directed to the WLGBC Women of Grace, 1200 Kings Highway, Winona Lake, Indiana  46590 for missions and would be appreciated by the family.
