Dorotha Marie Binkley Sheets

Dorotha Marie Binkley Sheets of Grace Village Retirement Community, Winona Lake, Indiana passed away at 8:50 a.m. on Monday, October 15, 2018 at Grace Village Health Care at the age of 102.

She was born on May 1, 1916 in Bourbon, Indiana to James Arthur Hershberger and Aurel Ethel (McCuen) Hershberger.  In 1936 she was married to Victor Binkley, he died in 1974.  Dorotha re-married in 1994 to William Lee Sheets, he passed away in 2008.

Dorotha was a resident of Kosciusko County, Indiana for the past 81 years and she had worked for 22 years in the machine shop at Depuy in Warsaw.  She was a member of Warsaw Community Grace Brethren Church.  Dorotha lived a long and full life, she enjoyed sewing, but most of all she loved her family. 

She will be lovingly remembered by her son:  Curtis (Judy) Binkley (Florida); daughter:  Sheila Poe (Warsaw, Indiana); six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, two brothers, and two sisters.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 22, 2018 from 10:00 – 12:00 noon at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana.  Her funeral service will follow at 12:00 noon, officiated by Pastor Andy Gavin.  Burial will follow with a graveside service at Stony Point Cemetery in Atwood, Indiana.
