Geraline "Jeri" Furry

Geraline “Jeri” Furry of Warsaw, Indiana passed away at 5:20 a.m. on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Mason Health and Rehabilitation Center in Warsaw at the age of 80.

She was born on March 14, 1938 in Crocket, Kentucky to Virgie (White) Mills and Ike Mills.  On February 2, 1957 she was married to Peter Allen Furry, who survives. 

Jeri was a resident of Kosciusko County, Indiana for the past 42 years.  She was a homemaker, loved nature and animals, but her real joy was loving her family and grandchildren. 

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 61 years, Peter Allen Furry (Warsaw, Indiana); son:  Curtiss Furry (Warsaw, Indiana); two grandchildren:  Cole Furry (Warsaw, Indiana); Adam (Kassidy) Furry (El Paso, Texas); one granddaughter:  Lauryn Furry; brother:  Tunis Browning (Bolingbrook, Illinois); and her two sisters:  Virginia Moore (Columbus, Ohio); Rhonda (Wayne) Hughes (Columbus, Ohio).  She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.           

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 17, 2018 from 11:00 – 1:00 p.m. at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana.  Her funeral service will follow immediately at 1:00 p.m. and officiated by Pastor Dennis L. Bollenbacher.  A graveside service will follow at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw. 

Memorial donations may be directed to the Animal Welfare League, 3489 E.  100 S., Pierceton, Indiana  46562 and would be appreciated by the family.
