Jessie Elizabeth Hamilton of Warsaw, Indiana passed away at 5:25 a.m. on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Miller’s Merry Manor of Warsaw at the age of 91.
She was born on June 8, 1927 in Kingston, New York to Pierina (Prosperi) Santora and Lorenzo Santora.
Jessie was a resident of Kosciusko County, Indiana for the past 70 years where she attended Winona Lake Free Methodist Church and Warsaw Community Church. She was a wonderful homemaker, mother and grandmother. Displaying her great love for her special needs daughter, Marjorie, having taken care of her daughter until she was no longer physically able to do so. Jessie will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She will be lovingly remembered by her two daughters: Patricia (Chuck) Freeman (Warsaw, Indiana); Marjorie Hamilton (Warsaw, Indiana); and her son: Robert “Bob” Hamilton (Warsaw, Indiana). She also leaves behind eight grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, brother, Lou Santora (Pennsylvania) and her sister, Jean Brown (Pennsylvania). She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Larry and Joe Santora, and her daughter, Suzanne Hamilton in 1965.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 31, 2019 from 10:00 – 12:00 noon at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana. Her funeral service will follow at 12:00 noon officiated by Pastor Jeff Pfeifer. Burial will follow with a graveside service at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw.
