Lynn Richard Newswanger

Lynn Richard Newswanger of Kokomo, Indiana and formerly of Warsaw, Indiana passed away unexpectedly on July 27, 2018 in Larado, Texas at the age of 55. 

He moved to the area in 1981 when he attended Grace College in Winona Lake, Indiana where he studied biblical studies for a number of years.  He loved his family and he especially loved his grandchildren.  Lynn will be dearly missed and forever loved.

He was born on August 4, 1962 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania to the late Luke Newswanger and Marianna Newswanger, who survives in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.  He was married to Stephanie Newswanger, who suvives in Kokomo.

He will be lovingly remembered by his son:  Ben Newswanger (Nashville, Tennessee); and two daughters:  Rebekah Newswanger (Warsaw, Indiana); and Katie (Britton) Schultz (Kokomo, Indiana).  Also surviving are five grandchildren:  Elaina, Gavin, and Weston Schultz; Gabriel and Rhilyn Newswanger; two sisters:  Arlene Kobulnicky (Virginia); Amy Newswanger (Lancaster, Pennsylvania); his twin brother: Lee (Deb) Newswanger (Pierceton, Indiana); and his brother Jim (Barb) Newswanger (Milford, Indiana). 

A private family graveside service will be held at a later date at Oakwood Cemetery in Warsaw, Indiana.
