Martin Holbrook Obituary

Martin J. Holbrook of Warsaw, Indiana passed away at 7:47 p.m. on Sunday, July 14, 2019 at Avalon Village in Ligonier, Indiana at the age of 82.

Martin moved to Kosciusko County, Indiana in 1963 and worked in the maintenance department of Dalton Foundry in Warsaw retiring in 1997.  He visited many churches these past few years, he was always a kind and friendly man who never shied away from fellowship with others.  He enjoyed tinkering with lawn mowers and loved to restore old Mustangs.  Martin was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and a friend to many. He would most want to be remembered as a loyal, hard working man that loved his family and friends dearly.

He will be lovingly remembered by his son:  David (Judy) Holbrook (Leesburg, Indiana); two daughters:  Lora Sizemore (Warsaw, Indiana);    Bernice Morie (Warsaw, Indiana); nine grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.  He also leaves behind two sisters:  Annie Adams (Stoney Ridge, Ohio); and Beth Lee Wallen (Prestonsburg, Kentucky).  He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, twelve brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana.
