Mary "Libby" Elizabeth Zolman

Mary Elizabeth “Libby” Zolman of Warsaw, Indiana passed away at 8:22 a.m. on Monday, December 10, 2018 at Lake City Place of Warsaw at the age of 94.  

She was born on January 17, 1924 in Hemingway, South Carolina to Minnie E. (Britton) Ivey and Willie A. Ivey.  On June 4, 1944 she was married to Devon Eugene Zolman.  They shared 61 years of marriage before he passed away on November 12, 2005.   

Libby was a resident of Kosciusko County, Indiana since 1944.  She graduated from International Business College in North Carolina and worked at Zimmer Inc. in Warsaw for 20 years as an international secretary.  She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. 

She will be lovingly remembered by her son:  Don (Darci) Zolman (Pierceton, Indiana); daughter:  Elaine (Lavon) Wood (Pierceton, Indiana); 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.  She also leaves behind her brother:  Wilbur D. Ivey (Hemingway, South Carolina); and sister:  Wilhelmina Leach (Hartsville, South Carolina).  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, D. Eugene Zolman, son, Fred Zolman, daughter, Linda Kunce, grandson, Craig Kunce, and three sisters, Louise Moore, Emily Harris and Frances Player.

Her funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home and officiated by Pastor Kevin Ousley.  Burial will follow with a graveside service at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Warsaw, Indiana.    

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana.  There will also be viewing on Thursday, December 13, 2018 an hour prior to the service from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.
