Maurice Michael Brady

Maurice Michael Brady of Warsaw, Indiana passed away at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Warsaw Meadows Care Center at the age of 87.

He was born on July 4, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois to Nellie Marie (Holton) Brady and Arthur Lawrence Brady.  On January 21, 1956 he was married to Christie Ann (Johnson) Brady, who survives.

Maurice enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps in 1947 and was honorably discharged in 1950.  He worked as a telephone technician for Illinois Bell for 38 years, and retired in 1989.  He enjoyed snowmobiling, and camping…but most of all he loved his family.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years, Christie Ann Brady (Warsaw, Indiana); three daughters:  Carol (Jim) Ross (Crystal Lake, Illinois); Donna (Rick) Kay (Wonder Lake, Illinois); and Linda (Steve) Divine (Winona Lake, Indiana).  He also leaves behind his beloved six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Arthur Brady. 

A private graveside service will take place at a later date at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw.  Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana.
