Nancy Marie McGlothin

Nancy Marie McGlothin of Winona Lake, Indiana passed away at 6:53 am on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at her residence at the age of 72.

She was born on August 13, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan to Frederick Augustus Wootton and Erna Viola (Grube) Wootton.  On August 19, 1969 she was married to Stephen “Steve” David McGlothin.

Nancy was a 1963 graduate of Redford High School in Redford, Michigan and a 1970 graduate of Detroit Bible College.  Nancy was a resident of Kosciusko County, Indiana for the past 48 years where after moving to Winona Lake, Indiana she worked for Grace College and Seminary until 1972.   She was also a homemaker and helped her husband do the books for their business, Grace Janitorial Services in Warsaw. She was a member of Pleasant View Bible Church in Warsaw.  Nancy was dearly loved and she loved her friends, family and especially her grandchildren. 

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 48 years, Steve McGlothin (Winona Lake, Indiana); two sons:  Shannon (wife Chanda Evans) McGlothin (Brooklyn, New York); Jonathan (wife Vida Sacic) McGlothin (Chicago, Illinois); and her daughter:  Dawn McGlothin (Winona Lake, Indiana).  Also surviving are her two grandchildren:  Maxwell and Henry; brother:  Daniel (Nancy) Wootton (Spartanburg, South Carolina); and sister-in-Law:  Barbara McGlothin (Waterford, Michigan).  She was preceded in death by her parents and infant son Kyle at birth.          

Her memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Pleasant View Bible Church, 2782 W. 200 N., Warsaw, Indiana and officiated by Pastor Mike Hontz and assisted by Pastor Jerry Pryor.  There will be time for visiting an hour prior to the service at the church from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.  Burial will be at a later date at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw.  Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home of Warsaw.

Memorial donations in Nancy’s name may be directed to K-21 Health Foundation, P.O. Box 1810, Warsaw, Indiana  46581-1810…designated to the Kosciusko County Cancer Care Fund; or to ICAN INC & ​Paytons Place, 409 E. Cook Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46825 and would be appreciated by the family.
