Robert Lewis Ditton of Warsaw, Indiana passed away at 6:50 p.m. on Monday, July 23, 2018 at his residence at the age of 71.
He was born on May 26, 1947 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to George Ditton and Vernom (McNees) Ditton.
Robert was a resident of Kosciusko County, Indiana for the past 52 years. He worked for Warsaw Foundry starting in 1962, and after 48 years he retired as an iron pourer in 2010. He was a hardworking man his entire life, enjoyed spending time with his friends at the V.F.W., yard sales and fishing. Robert will be dearly missed by his family.
He will be lovingly remembered by his son: Robert Ditton, Jr. (Warsaw, Indiana); two daughters: Mary Webb (Prestonsburg, Kentucky); and Janice Lambert (Warsaw, Indiana). He also leaves behind nine grandchildren: Amanda, Kristy, Billy, Eddie, Noah, Connor, Lucas, Tabitha and Brandon; six great-grandchildren; and his brother: George Ditton (Warsaw, Indiana). He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 27, 2018 from 11:00 – 1:00 p.m. at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana. His funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. and officiated by Pastor Jamy Gregory. Burial will follow with a graveside service at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw.
