William “Bill” Anthony Priser of Warsaw, Indiana passed away at 2:42 p.m. on Friday, September 21, 2018 at Kosciusko Community Hospital of Warsaw at the age of 73.
He was born on March 23, 1945 in Warsaw, Indiana to Ralph G. Priser and Mary Margaret (Fairbanks) Priser.
He was a 1963 graduate of Claypool High School, in Claypool, Indiana. Bill was inducted into the U.S. Army on November 8, 1967 and served in Vietnam until his honorable discharge on November 7, 1969. He worked at R.R. Donnelley and Sons Company in Warsaw and C.S.X, as well as working construction on the side. Bill was a member of the American Legion Post #49 of Warsaw and will be missed by his family and friends.
He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter: Londa (John) Priser Lewis (Mentone, Indiana); two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his two brothers: James (Michele) Priser (Claypool, Indiana); Lawrence Priser (Clunette, Indiana); and his sister: Mary Mason (Syracuse, Indiana). He was preceded in death by his parents, sister-in-law, Marjorie Priser and his brother-in-law: Jack Mason
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 from 11:00 – 1:00 p.m. at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana. His funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home and officiated by Chaplain Roy Blake. Burial will follow with a graveside service at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw in the John C. Peterson Post 49 American Legion Circle. Military rites will be conducted by the American Legion Post 49, V.F.W. #1126 both of Warsaw and active members of the Army Honor Guard.
