Ada Faye Dill
Obituary
Ada Faye Dill of Leesburg, Indiana was surrounded by her loved ones when she lost her battle with cancer at 7:10 p.m. on Sunday, April 9, 2023 at the age of 69.
She was born on March 9, 1954 in Jasper County, Indiana to Gene Curtis and Mary Ellen (Dionne) Jones.
Ada safely took hundreds of children to school every week for over 20 years as a trusted bus driver for Wawasee School Corporation. She loved to do puzzles and enjoyed anything to do with trains. Ada’s family loved to enjoy the many no-bake cookies she loved to make and was known for her delicious brats and fire potatoes. She loved her family dearly, especially loving-on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ada will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She leaves behind two daughters, René (Marvin) Perry (Cromwell, IN); Stephanie Nelson (Fort Wayne, IN); three grandchildren, Laurana, Taran and Caramon Perry; and three great-grandchildren, Lunet Butterfield, Yuna and Kai Perry. Also surviving are two brothers, Jim Curtis (Wheatfield, IN); Tom Curtis (IN); sister, Lisa Curtis (IN); and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, one brother, and one great-grandson.
Ada’s life will be celebrated by her family, thoughts and prayers are appreciated. Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana.
