Adrian Rose Obituary

Adrian Rose of Warsaw, Indiana passed away at 10:25 p.m. on Sunday, April 23, 2023, at Lutheran Hospital of Ft. Wayne, Indiana at the age of 74.

He was born on July 18, 1948 in Prestonsburg, Kentucky to Velma (Frazier) Rose and Howard Rose.  Adrian was a 1967 graduate of Whitko High School in South Whitley, Indiana.  On August 17, 1971, he married his best friend and love of his life, Rebecca “Becky” Jo Allen.  They were blessed with three children during their 40 years of marriage together before Becky passed away on January 17, 2012.

Adrian had been a resident of Kosciusko County, Indiana for the past 46 years where he had worked at Gatke Corporation in Warsaw for many years.  He later worked at Wabash Valley Corporation and retired in 2009 due to illness.  He was a straightforward kind of person, always said what was on his mind without any sugar coating... you always knew his feelings.  Adrian will be forever missed.

He leaves behind two daughters: Melissa Gamble (Warsaw, IN); Sheila (Mark) Richards (Warsaw, IN); and three grandchildren, Nicholas, Lindsay and Haley Gamble.  Also surviving is his brother, Joe (Sherry) Rose (KY); and sister, Debra (Curt) Frazier (IN).  He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Becky in 2012, infant son, Jimmy, and two brothers, Tom and William Rose.

Adrian’s life will be celebrated with a service at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana and officiated by Pastor Carl Adams.  Friends and family may visit prior to the service from 11:00 – 1:00 p.m.  A graveside service will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, IN.
