Alejandro Moyotl of Warsaw, Indiana passed away on Monday, February 15, 2021 at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne, Indiana at the age of 61.
He was born on February 19, 1959 in San Gregorio Zacapechpan in Puebla, Mexico to Juana Cielo and Eleuterio Moyotl. Alejandro was 17 years old when he married Gloria Cielo on March 12, 1977. The were married for 44 years and raised nine children together before he passed away.
Alejandro moved to Kosciusko County, Indiana in 1998 and was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Warsaw. Throughout his life he worked various jobs and was always a very hard worker who provided for his family. Alejandro had a servant’s heart and would always make time to help out people whenever he could. He always loved gardening and he enjoyed eating what he grew. He was a fighter, he would never give up no matter the circumstances. He had a wonderful outlook on life and it showed because he always had a smile on his face. Alejandro LOVED his eighteen grandchildren and his one great-grandchild. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and will be forever loved and missed.
He leaves behind his wife: Gloria Cielo (Warsaw, Indiana); three sons: Luis Moyotl and wife Emely Velazquez (Warsaw, Indiana); Omar Moyotl (Warsaw, Indiana); Sanitago Moyotl and wife Aida Aguilar (Warsaw, Indiana); six daughters: Leticia Moyotl and husband Antonio Dominguez (Bristol, Indiana); Alejandra Moyotl and husband Alex Miranda (Warsaw, Indiana); Joana Moyotl (Mexico); Judith Moyotl and husband Domingo Gutierrez (Warsaw, Indiana); Lourdes Moyotl (Warsaw, Indiana); Reveca Moyotl (Warsaw, Indiana); eighteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Also surviving is his brother: Procoro Moyotl; and three sisters: Remigia, Constantina, and Cristina Moyotl (all of San Gregorio Zacapechpan, Puebla, Mexico). He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Carmela Moyotl, and three brothers, Julian, Alfolzo and Ramon Moyotl.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana.
Alejandro’s life will be celebrated by Father Constantino Rocha with a private family mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Warsaw. A private graveside service will follow at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw.
