Angela Noel Hatcher

Due to the current guidelines regarding public gatherings because of the COVID-19 virus and safety concerns, please use good judgment in determining the length of your visit or if you should attend.  Masks are not required but recommended for the visitation and service if crowded and six feet of social distancing cannot be maintained.  There will be no congregating in the parking lot.

Angela Noel Hatcher of Barbee Lake in Warsaw, Indiana passed away surrounded by the love of her family at 10:15 p.m. on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at the age of 30.

She was born on February 25, 1991 in Decatur, Alabama to Samantha Jo (Jetton) Ludwig and George Clinton Hatcher. 

Angela was a normal little girl with a heart defect from birth.  Anyone who had the pleasure of meeting her in the first four short years will tell you that she lit up a room everywhere she went, she simply loved everyone.  After her first open heart surgery life was much different as she was no longer able to speak and was physically limited.  That same love and happiness she had for people shined even brighter than before.  For 30 years she fought for her life, with a smile on her face that would make even your worst day a little bit brighter.  Angela’s job in life WAS putting smiles on everyone’s face, every single person who came in contact with her was completely in awe of her strength and happiness.  Angela enjoyed the many adventures she was able to go on while her family wheeled her around. “As a family we can’t think of a single place we went where she wasn’t beaming from ear to ear still touching the live’s of others.  She taught us to listen to the silence, because even in silence a million words can be spoken.  Taught us to love unconditionally, be strong, have faith, be happy, laugh more, always be kind and to never give up.  She was an angel from the day she was born.  Always watching over us and protecting us. Angela has officially gained her physical wings in the sky without pain or suffering and still watching over each and every one of us…and for that we will be forever grateful to be blessed by her life.”

She will be lovingly remembered by her mother and stepfather:  Samantha Jo and Harvey Ludwig (Warsaw, Indiana); father and stepmother:  George Clinton and Jennifer Hatcher (Warsaw, Indiana); brother:  Mikel (Brittney) Hatcher (Pierceton, Indiana); and her sister:  Sara Hatcher (Warsaw, Indiana).  She also leaves behind her maternal grandparents:  Jimmy Jetton (Hillsboro, Alabama); Mae Walker (Hartselle, Alabama); paternal grandparents:  George and Betty Hatcher (Warsaw, Indiana); three Uncles and five Aunts; niece, Makinley Hatcher and her nephew, Bentley Barfell.  She was preceded in death by her Aunt Angela Jetton.           

Friends and family are invited for a time of visitation on Thursday , April 29, 2021 from 10:00 – 1:00 p.m. at Redpath-ruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana.  Angela’s life will be celebrated at 1:00 following visitation and officiated by Pastor William Whitaker.   A graveside service will follow at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw, Indiana.
