Beverly “Bev” Gail Fry of Warsaw, Indiana went home to be with Jesus at 10:45 a.m. on Friday, December 2, 2022 at Paddock Springs Nursing Home in Warsaw, Indiana at the age of 69.
She was born on July 28, 1953 in South Bend, Indiana to Edna Bernice (Abney) McIntire and Robert Lloyd Fry. Beverly was baptized at the Mennonite Church of Warsaw and attended Harrison Center Church faithfully. She received services from Cardinal Center and worked for many years both in the community and at the sheltered workshop. She loved all holidays, especially her birthday! Beverly loved spending time with her guardian’s family, going to church, and going on outings with her friend Christine. Bev loved her cats, Charlie and George, and always took good care of them. She liked music, doing crafts, drawing, calling her friends, going shopping and of course going out to eat. Bev was known for her bright smile and loved to give hugs!
She leaves behind her sisters, Linda Kidwell (Macy, IN), Vrena Locke, sister-in-law, Susan Lesko (Vancouver, B.C., Canada), and eight nieces and nephews. Beverly is also survived by her guardian of many years, Ann (Gary) Richard, and her good friend, Christine Jameson. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother Tom Fry.
Beverly’s life will be celebrated with a memorial service at 11:45 a.m. on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at Harrison Center Church, 965 S. 800 W., Etna Green, Indiana and officiated by Pastor Mark Burritt and Gary Richard. She will be laid to rest at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, Indiana. Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana.
