Carole Jean Tucker

Carole Jean Tucker of Warsaw, Indiana passed away at 6:10 a.m. on Friday, December 24, 2021 at Paddock Springs Assisted Living Facility in Warsaw, Indiana at the age of 76. 

She was born on October 27, 1945 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Ruth LaMay (Henke) and Carroll Sherman.  On April 28, 1967 she married the love of her life, Walter Robert “Bob” Tucker.  They raised their seven children, four sons and three daughters, and watched them grow up.  Bob and Carole did everything together throughout the 54 years of marriage they were blessed with before she passed away. 

Carole was a longtime hairdresser, having cut, washed, combed, and styled her own children’s hair as well as many clients that became friends over the years.  She was also the president of the Warsaw Beauty Association.  Carole loved old cars and together she and her husband, Bob, belonged to three car clubs, Cruising Hoosier, Hoosier Vintage Thunderbird Club and Vintage Thunderbird Club of Indianapolis.  She always had a love of animal’s and she LOVED her dogs!  Carole will forever be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be dearly missed. 

She leaves behind her husband:  Walter “Bob” Tucker (Warsaw, Indiana); four sons:  Jason Tucker (Warsaw, Indiana); Trinity Tucker (Florida); Zakariah Tucker (Leesburg, Indiana); Josh Ridlen (Warsaw, Indiana); three daughters:  Jennifer Tucker (Florida); Kirsten Tucker (Warsaw, Indiana); Savanah Tucker (Warsaw, Indiana); seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents and one great-grandson.           

A private family visitation will be held at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana.  Carole’s life will be celebrated with a public graveside service at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw, Indiana.
