Chuck Lisenbee Obituary

Chuck Lisenbee of Warsaw, Indiana went home to be with the Lord at 1:53 p.m. on Monday, May 16, 2022 at I.U. University Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana at the age of 60.   Chuck passed away within a few days after an unexpected illness and is now at home in Heaven.

He was born on May 25, 1961 in Uneeda, West Virginia.  He was one of four children born to Sue (Britton) Holloway and Charles E. Lisenbee.  On April 7, 1984 he married his best friend, Teresa Lynn Brown.  They were blessed with 38 years of marriage together before he passed away.

Chuck spent the last 55 years living in Kosciusko County, Indiana where he was a 1981 graduate of Warsaw Community High School.  He worked at Zimmer, Inc. in Warsaw from 1981-1996.  Most people knew him as the kind and helpful owner of Acey’s Trophies & Awards in Warsaw.  For 28 years, Chuck made countless trophies and engravings for so many people to celebrate their accomplishments and was still working up until his passing.  He was a compassionate and caring individual with a heart for service.  Chuck was always trying to help others when needed and he had such an amazing outlook on life that he could always see the best in people.  He was a loving husband and wonderful dad who will be dearly loved and forever missed.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Teresa Lynn Lisenbee (Warsaw, Indiana), and his son, Josh Lisenbee (Warsaw, Indiana).  He also leaves behind his mother and step-father, Sue and Jerry Holloway (Warsaw, Indiana), brother, Jimmy (Tracy) Lisenbee (Warsaw, Indiana), sister, Peggi Lisenbee-Wright and her husband Ron (Winona Lake, Indiana) and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father and his brother, Tye Lisenbee.

A private family graveside service will take place at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw, Indiana.  Thoughts and prayers are appreciated.  Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana.
