Crionna "Crinky" Rose Martin

Crionna Rose “Crinky” Martin formerly of Warsaw, Indiana passed away at 12:20 a.m. on Friday, April 28, 2023, at Majestic Care of Jefferson Pointe in Fort Wayne, Indiana at the age of 53.   

She was born on October 30, 1969, in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Rose Marie “Okie’ (Brown) Martin and John Gares Martin, Sr.  Crinky was a beloved figure her whole life to the people of Warsaw, Indiana.  Because of her special needs she was always surrounded by kind and caring people.  Crinky loved animals, children, bananas and of course ice cream!  She will be remembered as the character she was.  She has gone home to be with Jesus and her Mom and Dad.  We can all rejoice in that and sing hallelujah!  Crinky will be missed by those who loved her. 

She leaves behind her sister, Merry Sue Adams (South Whitley, Indiana); brother, John G. (wife Paula) Martin, Jr. (Michigan); and her niece and nephew.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Rose, on October 27, 2010, and her father, John, on March 9, 2017.   

Crinky will be laid to rest alongside her parents at Oakwood Cemetery in Warsaw.  Her life will be celebrated with a memorial gathering from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 7, 2023, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana.
