Due to the current guidelines regarding public gatherings because of the COVID-19 virus and safety concerns, please use good judgment in determining the length of your visit or if you should attend.  If six feet of social distancing is not maintained masks are required for the visitation and service.  There will be no congregating in the parking lot.

Daniel Lee Kreger of Warsaw, Indiana passed away the morning of Friday, December 11, 2020 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Columbia City, Indiana at the age of 72.

He was born on August 5, 1948 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Irene Ruth (Kern) Kreger and Delbert Allen Kreger.  On October 10, 1981 he was married to R. Dodie (Bryans) Kreger, sharing 39 years of marriage. 

Dan retired after 32 years of service from the Indiana Department of Transportation.  He was a hard working and proud 5th generation farmer on the Kreger Homestead.  He was a member of the Pierceton Masonic Lodge #377 and was a member of the Warsaw Shrine Club.  He absolutely loved animals, especially horses.  Dan was a motorcycle enthusiast and a member of the Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club in Pierceton.  He attended New Hope Wesleyan Church in Columbia City, Indiana and was a HAM radio operator with the call #KF9HW.  Dan was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.  He will be missed dearly by his family and friends. 

Dan will be lovingly remembered by his wife:  R. Dodie Kreger (Warsaw, Indiana); son:  Andrew Trudell (Columbia, City, Indiana); three daughters:  Nichole (Benjamin) Fingerle (Roanoke, Indiana); Misty (Derrick) Bendorf (Warsaw, Indiana); Danielle (Micky) Palmer (Pierceton, Indiana); and thirteen grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his mother and father.

Dan’s life will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana and officiated by Pastor Chris Hurst.  Friends and family may visit prior to the service from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m.  A graveside service will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery of Warsaw, Indiana.  

Memorial donations may be directed to the Animal Welfare League of Kosciusko County, 1048 S. 325 W., Pierceton, Indiana  46562.
