Dewey had been a resident of Kosciusko County, Indiana for the past 46 years where he was a member of Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church where for many years he enjoyed the fellowship with his church family.  He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be dearly missed.

He will be lovingly remembered by his two sons:  David D. (Darlene) Melton (Hendersonville, Tennessee); and Don J. (Michelle) Melton (Brownsburg, Indiana).  He also leaves behind his beloved four grandchildren:  Pamela (Chris) Byrd (St. Charles, Missouri); Brandon Melton (Middleburg, Florida); Robbie (Jessica) Melton (Madison, Tennessee); Christen Melton (Jacksonville, Florida); thirteen great-grandchildren; and two sisters:  Mattie B. White (Waterloo, Alabama); and Christine Killen (Florence, Alabama).  He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Beverly, and two brothers.
