His ship, the aircraft carrier USS Princeton CV37 visited Hawaii, Hong Kong, and various Japanese ports and the U.S. west coast including San Diego, California and Bremerton, Washington.

Buck and Laura Belle travelled to every state in the U.S.A. when time was available, and they lived in Las Vegas, Nevada and Florida during retirement before returning to Warsaw.

Buck’s main hobby was playing golf which he enjoyed immensely. He was SCUBA certified and one of his big accomplishments was the sixty foot open water dive off West Palm Beach, Florida.
