James Lester Trout of Roann, Indiana passed away at 5:21 a.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2020 at his residence at the age of 69.
He was born on November 12, 1950 in Terra Alta, West Virginia to Pansy Grace (Hull) Trout and Charles Theodore Trout. On June 20, 1971 he was married to Barbara Guin (Miles) Trout.
James served in the U.S. Army from September 6, 1968 until his honorable discharge on September 3, 1971. He was a resident of Wabash County, Indiana for over 43 years and had resided in Kosciusko County, Indiana for a few years. He attended Field of Grace Church in Roann. James worked as a drywaller since 1980 and worked on many walls of area residents and businesses. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 48 years, Barbara Guin Trout (Roann, Indiana); two sons: Charles (Crystal) Trout (Roann, Indiana); Samuel (Linda) Trout (Roann, Indiana); three daughters: Amy (Jamie) Johnson (Monroeville, Indiana); Christy Trout (Roann, Indiana); and Janna (Bradley) Lanphear (Bend, Oregon). Also surviving are fifteen grandchildren, one great-grandchild; and two sisters: Ruby (Alvie) Martin (North Carolina); Wilma (Getty) Keefer (Friendsville, Maryland). He was preceded in death by his parents, one grandchild, sister, Leoma, and two brothers, Joseph and Thomas.
James will be laid to rest with a private graveside service at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw, Indiana. Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana.
