It is with great sadness we announce that Jason Matthew Engel passed away on Friday, November 13, 2020.

Jason was born in Hanover Park, Illinois on September 17, 1978. Jason graduated from Oak Park River Forest High School in Oak Park, Illinois in 1997 and graduated from Full Sail University in Florida with an Associate degree as a Lighting and Sound technician.

He was the beloved son of Harold and Sally Engel, wife, Jennifer, and step-daughter, Serena. Siblings, Craig (Lorrisa), Cary (Tom), Christine (Jim), Catherine (Eric); brother-in-law, John.; nephew to John and Gloria, Ron and Kathy, and Jerry and Elaine. He was Uncle to Lindsey, Rachael, Brian, Matt, Megan, Zachary, Lauren, Jeff, Blair, Sarah and Matthew and a Great Uncle to William, Brian, Brooks, Willa, Hannah, and Kevin. Cousin to Ken, Connie, Doug, Jennifer, Dennis, Lisa, Bryan, Jennifer, Brad, Mike, Kathy, Becky and Jon. Also his much loved dog Daisy May and cat Newman.

There will be a virtual memorial service on Sunday, November 29, 2020 at 12:00 CST. Please email carymclean@comcast.net if you would like to be included.
