He was born on August 30, 1974 in Silver Lake, Indiana one of seven children born to Deborah Ann (Allen) Zile and Philip “Phil” Alan Zile.  Jeremy grew up surrounded by his large family and always had plenty of shoulders to lean on.  He was married on October 6, 2016 to Heather Suzanne (McCartney) Zile, who survives.  Together they combined their families and had more people to love.

He had recently moved and had been a resident of Elkhart County, Indiana for about a year.  Jeremy always had a love and appreciation of the outdoors where he could get away from the distractions of day-to-day life.  Being an outdoorsy person who loved spending time in his backyard creating long lasting memories with those that he cared about.  He could be found most weekends on the lake and sharing moments with all the special friends and family in his life!  He dearly loved his family and his family LOVED him very much in return.  Jeremy left a lasting and unforgettable impression on the hearts of ALL who were fortunate enough to have known him.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife:  Heather Suzanne Zile (Elkhart, Indiana); three sons: Logan (Kiersten) Zile (Decatur, Michigan); Isaac Merrill (Elkhart, Indiana); Austin Zile (Warsaw, Indiana); six daughters:  Jenna Merrill (Elkhart, Indiana); Yessenia Merrill (Elkhart, Indiana); Adrianna (Caleb) Torson (Fort Wayne, Indiana); Ella Merrill (Elkhart, Indiana); Naveya Merrill (Elkhart, Indiana); and Megan Zile (Warsaw, Indiana).  He also leaves behind his parents:  Deborah and Phil Zile (Silver Lake, Indiana); two brothers:  Travis Zile (Silver Lake, Indiana); Jamie (Betsy) Zile (Noblesville, Indiana); and four sisters:  Traci (Regen) Lehman (Middlebury, Indiana); Katie (Josh) Cumberland (North Manchester, Indiana); Kasie (Andy) Eberly (North Manchester, Indiana); Kyla (David) Lash (Mentone, Indiana).  He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
