John Devon Zolman

Due to the current guidelines regarding public gatherings because of the COVID-19 virus and safety concerns, please use good judgment in determining the length of your visit or if you should attend.  Six feet of social distancing should be maintained and masks are required for the visitation and service.  There will be no congregating in the parking lot.

John Devon Zolman of Claypool, Indiana passed away unexpectedly at 7:05 a.m. on Friday, February 19, 2021 at his residence at the age of 44. 

He was born on October 25, 1976 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Fred Gene Zolman and Betty Jean (Williamson) Zolman.  John was a newlywed, recently married on December 19, 2020 to Kay Ann (Saint) Zolman. 

John was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, Indiana where he graduated from Warsaw Community High School, Warsaw, Indiana in 1996.  He was a proud truck driver his entire life until his health forced his retirement.  John was a volunteer as a first responder throughout the county.  He loved to spend time with his family and his grandkids.  He will forever be loved and remembered by his family and friends. 

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife:  Kay Ann (Saint) Zolman (Claypool, Indiana); son:  Jacob Zolman (Warsaw, Indiana); daughter:  Rebekah Zolman (Warsaw, Indiana); four step-children: Jonathan Mishoe (Warsaw, Indiana); Jazzmine, Ariel and Gene Denz (Claypool, Indiana); and two grandchildren:  Emma and Jaxson.  Also surviving are two brothers:  David (Angela) Zolman (Pierceton, Indiana); Daniel (Angie) Zolman (Warsaw, Indiana); and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Betty Zolman.           

John’s life will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana and officiated by Pastor Tom Bradford. A graveside service will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, Indiana. Friends and family may visit prior to the service from 10:00 – 1:00 p.m.
