Kathleen “Kathy” Diane Glunt of Columbia, Kentucky and formerly of Pierceton, Indiana passed away at 7:12 p.m. CST on Sunday, April 5, 2020 at her residence at the age of 75.
She was born on December 4, 1944 in Mount Clemens, Michigan to Rose (Silling) Moore and Earl Anthony Moore. On May 20, 1977 she was married to Charles A. Glunt. They shared 29 years of marriage together before he passed away on January 13, 2007.
Kathy attended L’Anse Creuse High School in Harrison Township, Michigan. She moved to Kosciusko County, Indiana in 1995 where she and her late husband, Charles enjoyed living on Ridinger Lake in Pierceton for many years. Kathy moved to Columbia, Kentucky in 2007 to live with her daughter. She was a loving mother, homemaker and proud of her Catholic faith.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter: Cheryl Ann Summers (Columbia, Kentucky); and her son: John William Groves (Indianapolis, Indiana). She also leaves behind three step-sons: Victor, Vincent, and Michael Glunt; three grandchildren: Paris Johns, Madison Johns, and Rex Speers, Jr.; seven great-grandchildren; one brother: Earl B. Moore; and four sisters: Sally, Sandra, Shirley, and Cindy. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and her son, Martin Allen Johns in 1999.
Kathy’s life will be celebrated with a private graveside service at Mock Cemetery in North Webster, Indiana. Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana.
