Kathleen "Kathy" Hall of Warsaw, Indiana passed away surrounded by her loved ones at 9:10 a.m. on Friday, June 2, 2023, at her residence at the age of 71. She fought hard but lost her battle to cancer, her family has comfort in knowing her pain has come to an end and is whole again in Heaven!
She was born on July 24, 1951, in Warsaw, Indiana to Zora (Whitaker) Sparks and German Sparks. On March 3, 1972, she married Frank Perry, he unfortunately passed away on September 15, 1972. Kathy was blessed to have met Dexter Hall and they were married on September 26, 1975. They shared 24 years together before Dexter passed away on June 11, 2000.
Kathy was a 1969 graduate of Warsaw High School. She loved working as a church administrator for 16 years at Home Church in Warsaw where she was a longtime member. More than anything, she dearly loved being Mom and later she cherished her role as a grandmother. Kathy especially loved and adored her grandchildren. A courageous, strong, beautiful soul, she was loved by many. With her kind heart and sense of humor, she spent her time on this earth living her life to the fullest and loving people in a great way. She would most want to be remembered for her faith in her Savior Jesus and will be forever missed by her family.
She leaves behind her father, German Sparks (Warsaw, IN); two sons, Greg (Beverly) Perry (Burket, IN); Daniel Olivo (Goshen, IN); and her daughter, Aleisha (Paul) Penn (Warsaw, IN). Also surviving are her beloved five grandchildren, Austin (Jasmine) Penn, Ethan (Kara) Penn, Landon Penn, Kyle Perry, Jonathan Perry; great grandson, Dexter Thomas Penn; and her sister, Christine (Roger) Fannin (Rochester, IN). She was preceded in death by her mother, Zora in 2012.
Friends and family may visit from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 5, 2023, at Home Church, 744 S. 325 E., Warsaw, Indiana. Kathy’s life will be celebrated with a service at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at Home Church in Warsaw and officiated by Pastor John Bryan Lowe and Pastor Larry Higginbotham. A private graveside service will take place at a later date at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Warsaw. Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana.
