Lesa Regenos

Lesa Regenos of Warsaw, Indiana passed away at home surrounded by her loved ones at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday, August 17, 2023, at the age of 64. 

She was born on July 12, 1959, in Warsaw, Indiana to Barbara Jean (LaRue) and Lowell Gene Regenos.  She was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, Indiana where she worked for many years as a machinist for Biomet in Warsaw.  One of Lesa’s greatest accomplishments was furthering her education later in life and was proud to have earned her Bachelor’s degree. 

Lesa always enjoyed a great day fishing, she just loved to cast out her line and enjoy the moment relaxing and became many of her happiest times.  She wasn’t shy about sharing her vocal talents and was comfortable with a microphone in her hand.  Singing brought her much joy with her unique and energetic voice.  Lesa was loved by many, she had a strong, beautiful soul, a kind heart and a great sense of humor.  She spent her time on this earth just doing the best she could for her family that she dearly loved.  She was born to be a grandma and she simply adored all of her grandbabies.  She will be forever loved and missed by her friends and family.

She leaves behind two daughters, Nickie (Todd, Jr.) Landry (Warsaw, IN); Amanda (Nathan) Ghrist (Claypool, IN); eleven grandchildren; and three sisters, Le Anna Regenos (Muscatine, Iowa); Nila (Barry) Coy (Warsaw, IN); Lisa Martin (Berne, IN).   She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Mark Regenos, Tracy D. Holmes, and Donald Stuart Gerding. 

Lesa’s life will be celebrated with a funeral service officiated by Chaplain Randall Myers at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana.  Friends and family may visit prior to the service from 11:00 – 1:00 p.m.
