Maria Leticia Sanchez Medina of Warsaw, Indiana passed away at 9:33 a.m. on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at Parkview Whitley Hospital of Columbia City, Indiana at the age of 49. She lost her battle with cancer but is now whole again with her Lord and Savior.
She was born on December 2, 1971 in Guanajuato a city in central Mexico to her parents Juaquin Sanchez and Margarita Medina Sanchez. On October 20, 2013 she was married to Juan Bustamante, who survives.
Maria has lived in Kosciusko County, Indiana for the past 12 years where she worked in the factory as a cutter at Maple Leaf Farms in Milford, Indiana. She loved attending and being a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Warsaw. Family meant the world to her, and she would always give everything to her family and children. She was a hard worker and always dependable. More than anything she had a loving heart and wonderful smile. She will be forever loved and missed by her family and friends.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband: Juan Bustamante (Warsaw, Indiana); three sons: Edgar, Mauricio and Antonio Medellin; five daughters: Jessica Medellin, Mercedez, Jenny, and Ruby Bustamante; and Mayra Fernanadez; and one granddaughter: Kimberli Meyo Bustamante. Also surviving is her father: Juaquin Sanchez; two brothers: Mariano and Christan Sanchez; and five sisters: Patricia, Esmeralda, Oralia, Thalia and Tatiana Sanchez. She was preceded in death by her mother, two brothers, and one daughter.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 29, 2021 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana.
Her mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 225 Gilliam Drive, Warsaw, Indiana and celebrated by Father Jose Arroyo. A graveside service will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Warsaw.
Memorial donations may be directed to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana to go towards funeral expenses and to the family.
