Mark Thomas Laurenson of Warsaw, Indiana passed away at 1:22 p.m. on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne, Indiana at the age of 72.
He was born on October 27, 1946 in Wyandotte, Michigan to Dorothy Ellen (Cameron) Laurenson and Thomas Malcolm Laurenson. On July 3, 2010 he was married to Robin Lee Jenkins, who survives.
Mark earned his B.A. from Grace College in Winona Lake, Indiana and also attended Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois where he studied journalism and print. He worked in Annapolis, Maryland in magazine design and worked in publishing college textbooks. Mark was a member of Christ’s Covenant Church of Warsaw and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 9 years, Robin Lee Laurenson (Warsaw, Indiana); two sons: Bryan (Hannah) Laurenson, Stephen Laurenson (both of Nashville, Tennessee); step-daughter: Lisa Stoll (New Jersey); step-son: Jonathan Stoll (Madison, Wisconsin); and his three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mark's life will be celebrated with a memorial service to be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana and officiated by Pastor Rod Valentine. Burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw, Indiana.
