Mary Louise Trueblood

Mary Louise Trueblood of Warsaw, Indiana passed away at 3:13 p.m. on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at her residence at the age of 73.

She was born on December 10, 1948 in Kokomo, Indiana to Phyllis (Marsh) Trueblood and Robert Trueblood.  Mary was a longtime resident of Kosciusko County, Indiana and graduated from Warsaw High School in 1967.  She worked for many years as a secretary and was the friendly face with the kind voice that greeted everyone on the phone or in the office at Accur-Cut Machine Company in North Webster, Indiana where she retired from.  She loved being a Mom to her beloved daughter, Wendy.  Supporting her in everything she did from driving her to band practice and attending the many High School Marching Band shows Wendy participated in.

Mary was known for being a great cook and loved to bake, and she especially loved to cook for her co-workers and bring them treats.  She definitely loved her pets and Holly the dog knew she was loved.  Mary had a heart for all of the creatures in nature and took care of the many wild animals that would show up in her yard, as well as feeding the hummingbirds and setting out birdseed.  She tended to her plants and flowers so that they would attract the beautiful butterflies, and she grew plenty of purple lilacs in her yard for the birds.  Mary was truly one of a kind who treasured spending time with her family, playing UNO, laughing and of course sharing her many bad jokes and plentiful puns.  Her smile and laugh will be dearly missed by her family and many friends. 

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Wendy Trueblood (spouse Tristen Lortie) (Warsaw, Indiana).  She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Trueblood in 2006, her mother Phyllis in 2016 and the absolute LOVE of her life, David Klos, who passed away in 2002. 

Mary’s life will be celebrated at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, August 8, 2022 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana and officiated by Pastor Kenneth Cooke.  There will be an hour of visitation prior to the service from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m.
