Marylin Brannock Obituary

Marylin Roberta Brannock of Warsaw, Indiana passed away at 9:55 a.m. on Friday, October 7, 2022 at Kosciusko Community Hospital of Warsaw, Indiana at the age of 85.

She was born on March 7, 1937 in Murphysboro, Illinois to Nellie M. (Jardine) Jones and Arthur R. Jones.  On October 20, 1973 she was married to Dennis D. Brannock, they were blessed with almost 49 years of marriage before Marylin passed away.

Marylin’s favorite time of the year was fall, watching the leaves change color and enjoying the cool evenings.  She was definitely known for loving animals and she had a soft spot in her heart for cats and dogs.  Marylin was such a caring person that she would do anything for people in need.  She loved her Trinity Lutheran Church family in Crown Point, Indiana and most of all she loved her family…kids, grandkids and her dear husband, Dennis.  Marylin will be dearly loved and remembered by those who were fortunate to have known her.

She leaves behind her husband, Dennis D. Brannock (Warsaw, Indiana); son, Robert (Heather) Brannock (Warsaw, Indiana); two daughters, Melissa Strand (Greencastle, Indiana); Margaret Foecke (Canyon City, Colorado); and two grandchildren, Raven and Avonlea.  She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Benjamin Brannock, two sisters, and one brother.

Marylin’s life will be celebrated privately by her family, thoughts and prayers are deeply appreciated.  Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana.
