Masks should be worn if you feel more comfortable doing so, they are highly recommended for the visitation and service. Melesio Sosa of Warsaw, Indiana passed away at 9:18 p.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne, Indiana at the age of 64.
He was born on February 12, 1956 in Tierra Blanca, Tantoyuca, Veracruz, Mexico to Santana Sosa and Leoncia (Ponce). On April 2, 1977 he was married to Maria Moctezuma, who survives. They shared 43 years of marriage together before he passed away.
Melesio had been a resident of Kosciusko County, Indiana for the past 21 years, moving to Warsaw from Mexico in 1999. He was a hard worker and enjoyed working for the past 21 years at Creighton Brothers, LLC in Warsaw. He loved music, especially playing the piano. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, father-in-law and friend to many. He will be dearly missed by his family.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Maria Moctezuma (Warsaw, Indiana); four daughters: Juana (Carlos) Murillo (Warsaw, Indiana); Janeth (Flavio) Mar (Warsaw, Indiana); Arely (Julio) Hernandez (Mexico); Rosario (Hector) Martinez (Mexico); and eleven grandchildren. Also surviving are five brothers, Mariano, Nohemit, Proceso, Miguel and Joel; and four sisters: Blanca, Rosario, Guadalupe and Leoncia. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana.
His mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 24, 2020 and celebrated by Father Constantino Rocha at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 225 Gilliam Drive, Warsaw, Indiana. A graveside service will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Warsaw.
