Nancy J. Troyer Krumreich Spangle, age 65, passed away at 4:00 a.m. on Monday, February 1, 2021 at Peabody Retirement Community in North Manchester, Indiana. Nancy was formerly a longtime resident of Kosciusko County, Indiana.
She was born on August 27, 1955 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Winifred (Gerhart) Troyer and Harold Earl Troyer. On May 22, 1993 she was married to Dwight Spangle and they shared 27 years of marriage.
Nancy graduated from North Side High School in 1975, eventually earning a master’s degree in Education from Covenant College, Lookout Mountain, Georgia. She was active in the local homeschooling community and taught English and Shakespeare for various co-ops. Nancy was a member of Grace Baptist Church of Warsaw.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband: Dwight Spangle (Warsaw, Indiana); and four children: Heidi Krumreich (Columbia City, Indiana); Bethany (Andrew) Jones (Winona Lake, Indiana); Curtis (Robin) Krumreich (Chicago, Illinois); and Clayton Spangle (Pierceton, Indiana). Also surviving are her brothers: James (Kay) Troyer (Greenwood, Indiana): Robert (Nancy) Troyer (Huntington, Indiana); sister: Carol (Mike) Koeneman (Fort Wayne, Indiana); as well as her four grandchildren: Ian, Milo, Levi, and Callen.
Nancy will be laid to rest in Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw, Indiana. A private graveside service will be officiated by Pastor Aaron Hoak. Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana.
