Nancy Ann Weirick of Warsaw, Indiana passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at Miller’s Merry Manor of Warsaw at the age of 85.

She was born on January 27, 1939, Hopkinsville, Kentucky to Rose Arthula (Goode) Johnson and Chester Johnson.  Nancy was a 1957 graduate of Atwood High School in Atwood, Indiana.  On June 4, 1960, she married the love of her life, Larry Joe Weirick.  They were blessed with three children, who later made them grandparents and great-grandparents.  Nancy and Larry shared 63 years of marriage and created many cherished memories before she passed.

Nancy was a wonderful wife, homemaker and mother who was always there for her family when needed.  She worked outside of the home for many years and was a familiar face at Mutual Federal Bank of Warsaw.  She enjoyed worshiping alongside her church family at Warsaw First Brethren Church.  Nancy was a loving and caring soul, and will forever be remembered in the hearts of those that loved her.

She leaves behind her husband, Larry Joe Weirick (Warsaw, IN); two daughters, Jacqueline “Jackie” (Mike) Thornsbury (Warsaw, IN); Jill (Matthew) Claypool (New Palestine, IN); and her son, Jon Weirick (Avon, IN).  Also surviving are four grandchildren, Kira and Keegan Beam; Molly and Cecelia Claypool; and four great-grandchildren, Linkin and Lennox Gonzalez; Xander and Zayn Beam.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Billy Joe Johnson.

Nancy’s life will be celebrated with a private family service at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana and officiated by Pastor Jeff Pfeifer.  She will be laid to rest at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw.
