Obituary

Pastor Danny "Dan" Leon Cox, 79, of Warsaw, Indiana and formerly of Sullivan passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023 at his home.

He was born on May 27, 1943 in Sullivan, Indiana the son of Leon Russell Cox and Frances Eslinger Cox.  Danny was a veteran of the US Navy.  He earned his doctorates degree and was a minister at Community Life Center in Warsaw, Indiana.  

Survivors include his loving wife, Brenda Hobbs Cox (Warsaw, IN), two sons, Douglas (Stephanie) Cox (San Antonio, TX) and Craig (Jodi) Cox (Warsaw, IN) and five grandchildren, Caleb (Faithann) Cox, Shayla Cox, Jaelyn Cox, Camden Cox and Kelsie Cox.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  

A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at Johnson Cemetery in Graysville, Indiana with Pastor Phil Chandler officiating.  Military rites will be conducted by the Sullivan County Honor Guard.  Arrangements were entrusted to Brust Funeral Home, Sullivan, Indiana and local arrangements entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw, Indiana.  

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kosciusko County Hospice, or the building fund for Community Life Center in Warsaw Indiana.
