Patricia “Patti” Joan Paris of Warsaw, Indiana went home to be with her Lord and Savior at 11:58 a.m. on Monday, December 19, 2022 at her residence at the age of 75.
She was born on September 11, 1947 in Lewistown, Illinois to Maurine (Bowden) and Delbert A. Ruberg. Patti was a 1966 graduate of South Side High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana. At the young age of 19, she knew she wanted to spend the rest of her life with George “Tim” Frank Paris, and they were married on July 30, 1966. They were blessed with three sons and shared everything during their 56 years of marriage together.
Patti worked for the Rochester School System for nearly 30 years. She was a member of Beaver Dam United Methodist Church in Akron, Indiana where she enjoyed sharing her strong faith in the Lord with her church family. She was a wonderful piano and organ player and shared her talents playing for her church throughout her life. She loved playing the piano and teaching many students over the years, especially her grandchildren.
She moved to Warsaw, Indiana in 2019 coming from Talma, where she spent her remaining years loving on her family and treasuring time at the lake with her loved ones. She was always an enthusiastic and devoted sports mom and also supported her grandchildren’s activities. Patti was a devoted wife who cared for her husband, loved her boys, and was deeply proud of her grandchildren. She will be forever loved and missed by her family and friends.
She leaves behind her husband, George “Tim” Paris (Warsaw, IN); three sons, Randy (Carmen) Paris (Winona Lake, IN), Chris Paris (Carmel, IN), and Jason (Jessica) Paris (Greencastle, PA). Also surviving are her beloved seven grandchildren, Madelyn and Landon (Winona Lake, IN), Jake and Brookelyn (Carmel, IN), Benjamin, Zachary and Nicholas (Greencastle, PA). She was preceded in death by her parents, and a daughter-in-law, Dawn Paris.
Patti’s life will be celebrated with a service at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana and officiated by Pastor Butch Troke.
Friends and family may visit prior to the service from 10:00 - 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A graveside service will follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Rochester, Indiana.
