Paul Heimbach Obituary

Paul Edwin Heimbach of Warsaw, Indiana passed away after a lengthy illness at 2:45 a.m. on his 53rd birthday, on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home in Fort Wayne, Indiana. 

He was born on July 7, 1967 in Reading, Pennsylvania son of Janet Marie Heimbach and Stanley P. Heimbach, Jr.  On August 21, 1993 he was married to Barbara Elaine (Stork) Heimbach, who survives.

Paul graduated from Wilson High School in West Lawn, Pennsylvania in 1986.  Afterwards he attended Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania graduating in 1990.  He had been a resident of Kosciusko County, Indiana for the past 29 years where from 1991-1997 he attended Grace Seminary in Winona Lake, Indiana and finally earned his Master’s degree.  In August of 1996 he took a position as a web developer for KC-Online.  He worked for The Whitman Group in Warsaw until June of 2013 and then became the EMR Administrator at the Bowen Center in Warsaw working there until 2017.  In May of 2019 he was employed with OMCO Midwest Roll Forming in Pierceton, Indiana until 2020.  Paul had been working as a press operator at Parker-Hannifin Corporation in Syracuse, Indiana before his passing.  He was the curator for the Warsaw Biblical Gardens for many years, a member of MENSA International since 2004, and was actively involved in politics.  Paul loved to read science fiction, collecting music, antiques, computers, technology, and was an environmentalist. 

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 26 years, Barbara Elaine Heimbach (Warsaw, Indiana); daughter:  Victoria Heimbach (Warsaw, Indiana); mother:  Janet Marie Heimbach (Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania); and his sister:  Christine (John) Stapf (Marietta, Pennsylvania).  He was preceded in death by his father, Stanley on April 1, 2018.           

Paul’s life will be celebrated with a memorial service at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana and officiated by Pastor Denny Wilson.  Friends and family may visit two hours prior to the service from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m.

Memorial donations may be directed to Warsaw Biblical Gardens, 347 N. Buffalo Street, Warsaw, Indiana  46580 and would be appreciated by the family.
