Obituary

Reagan Marie Dice of Warsaw, Indiana passed after a two year battle with Ewing Sarcoma at 4:12 a.m. on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Center for Hospice Care Raclin House in Mishawaka, Indiana at the age of 18.

Reagan was born on July 13, 2002 in Warsaw, Indiana to Wendy (Sanders) VanHoozer and Travis Dice.  She was a 2020 graduate of Warsaw Community High School. Reagan loved school and excelled academically.  She was beautiful and smart!  She was a proud member of the National Honor Society and held a 4.1 grade point average.  Reagan competed for Warsaw Community High School as a swimmer and was a member of the track and field team earning her varsity letter in swimming and diving.  She was continuing her education and was a freshman at Indiana University.  Reagan was always busy doing one thing or another and  was ALWAYS wanting to try new adventures.  She loved to surf and spend time on Wawasee Lake in Syracuse with her family and friends and spend hours in the water wakeboarding.  Reagan had an amazing outlook on life even after she was diagnosed with cancer.  While fighting for her own life she never stopped thinking of others.  She was a fighter and extremely courageous she never hesitated to try experimental treatments that in the long run might help others.  Reagan was a loving and compassionate person who loved to be silly, was an amazing big sister who had the most beautiful smile and a laugh that could bring a smile to your face and make the day better.  She made a lasting impression on the hearts of those she loved in the short 18 years she LIVED on this earth….she will be forever loved and never forgotten.

She will be lovingly remembered by her father and his fiance:  Travis Dice and Amanda Marshall (Warsaw, Indiana); mother and step-father:  Wendy and Danny VanHoozer (Milford, Indiana); two brothers:  Aiden and Sevyn Dice (Warsaw, Indiana); and her sister:  DeLaney Rocha (Warsaw, Indiana).  She also leaves behind her paternal grandparents:  Steve and Debi Dice (Fort Wayne, Indiana); maternal grandparents:  Gary and Diana Sanders (Nappanee, Indiana); and maternal great-grandparents:  Tom and Patsy Sanders (Kokomo, Indiana).
