Ricardo Ahuatl of Warsaw, Indiana passed away unexpectedly at 1:32 p.m. on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana at the age of 62.
He was born on May 4, 1958 in Cholula, Puebla, Mexico to Lorenza Cuautle Ahuatl and Juaquin Ahuatl. On July 18, 1982 at the age of 24 he married Rufina Cacahua. They shared 38 years of marriage together before he passed away.
Ricardo moved to Warsaw, Indiana 21 years ago in 1999 with his family where he was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. He was a very hardworking man who dedicated his life to the well-being of his family. At the time of his illness he was working at Texmo Precision Castings in Warsaw. Ricardo will forever be remembered as a faithful and loving husband, father and grandfather and will be dearly missed.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife: Rufina Cacahua (Warsaw, Indiana); two sons: Everardo (Lizbeth) Ahuatl (Warsaw, Indiana); Ricardo Ahuatl, Jr. (Mexico); and two daughters: Grisel Ahuatl (Warsaw, Indiana); Leticia Ahuatl (Warsaw, Indiana). Also surviving are ten grandchildren: Omar, Gerardo, Anakaren, Jesus, Lissette, Emmanuel, Eli, Genesis, Julissa and Javis; two brothers: Guillermo and Alvaro Ahuatl (Mexico); and three sisters: Candelaria, Carmela and Maria Ahuatl (Mexico). He was preceded in death by his parents, and his infant son, Jose Ahuatl.
Friends and family may visit from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Monday, December 28, 2020 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana. There will be a Rosary Service at 6:00 p.m. during visitation. Ricardo’s life will be celebrated by Father Constantino Rocha with a private family mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Warsaw. A private graveside service will follow at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw.
