Richard Lowe Obituary

Richard E. Lowe of Warsaw, Indiana entered the gates of heaven Monday evening March 5, 2018 at the age of 62.  There was a distinct look of enlightenment in his eyes prior to taking his last breath.  He was surrounded by an adoring mother, loving daughter and an army of siblings.  He was loved by all for his humble spirit, zest for life, kind and gentle nature.  He made time for everyone and greeted all with a warm welcoming smile.  “Ricky” made the world a better place and will be sadly missed in the community.

He was born on March 29, 1955 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Phil O. Lowe and Mary Louise (Suelzer) Lowe.

He was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, Indiana where he was a 1973 graduate of Warsaw High School.  Ricky was a residential and commercial painter and the owner of The Picky Painter in Warsaw.  He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Warsaw.

He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Carly Lowe (Indianapolis, Indiana); and his mother, Mary Louise Lowe (Warsaw, Indiana).  He also leaves behind six brothers:  Mike (wife Connie) Lowe (Pueblo, Colorado); John (wife Katie) Lowe (Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan); Jim (wife Jackie) Lowe (Granger Indiana); Tom (wife Amy) Lowe (Warsaw, Indiana); Phil (wife Denise) Lowe (Cape Coral, Florida); Joe Lowe (Flagstaff, Arizona); five sisters:  Anita (husband Denny) Fitzgerald (Findlay, Ohio); Marty (husband Owen) Altman (Delray Beach, Florida); Susan (husband Paul) Scheuer (Warsaw, Indiana); Sharon Semmer (Los Angeles, California); Mary Pat Wallen (Warsaw, Indiana); and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father Phil O. Lowe and his beloved brother-in-law Robert Semmer.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 16, 2018 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service at 8:00 p.m. at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana.
