Robert "Rob" Dean Emerick

Due to the current guidelines regarding public gatherings because of the COVID-19 virus and safety concerns, please use good judgment in determining the length of your visit or if you should attend.  Six feet of social distancing should be maintained and masks are required for the visitation and service.  There will be no congregating in the parking lot.

Robert “Rob” Dean Emerick passed away at 12:32 p.m. on Monday, December 21, 2020 at Warsaw Meadows Care Center at the age of 50.

He was born on June 30, 1970 in Akron, Ohio to Carol Jean (Hartwell) Emerick and William John Emerick. 

Rob graduated from Hoover High School in North Canton, Ohio in 1989.  He moved to Kosciusko County, Indiana in 2005 and worked road construction for many years.  He was an avid sports fan of ANY sport!  He had the privilege and very much enjoyed being the statistician for the Wawasee High School Basketball team in Syracuse, Indiana for many years.  Rob will forever be remembered as simply “Dad”, and dearly missed by his mother, sister and family and friends.   

He leaves behind his son:  Christian Emerick; daughter:  Courtney Emerick; mother:  Carol Emerick; and his sister:  Dana McAfee (all of Warsaw, Indiana).  He was preceded in death by his father, William John Emerick.            

Visitation will be held from 10:00 – 12:00 noon on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana.  A graveside service will follow immediately at 12:00 noon at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw, Indiana and officiated by Pastor Jarod Osborne.
