Roger Lee Bailey of Warsaw, Indiana passed away at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, November 16, 2020 at Warsaw Meadows Care Center at the age of 65.
He was born on February 22, 1955 in Warsaw, Indiana to Donald Elliott Bailey and Barbara Joan (Valentine) Bailey.
Roger was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, Indiana where he was a 1973 graduate of Whitko High School, South Whitley, Indiana. He attended Wyoming Tech and graduated in 1977. Roger was quite handy with cars and detail work and enjoyed doing auto body work in the 70’s. Over the years he worked at many restaurants in Warsaw and loved to keep busy and enjoyed the people he worked with. His nieces and nephews thought he hugged like a pillow, and he was also known as a “Gentle Giant” at Warsaw Meadows Care Center. He will be dearly missed by his family.
He will be lovingly remembered by his sister: Carolyn Rule (Warsaw, Indiana); two Brothers: Rex (Helen) Bailey (Talbott, Tennessee); Mark (Linda) Bailey (Pierceton, Indiana); two nieces and one nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Roger’s life will be celebrated with a graveside service at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Hillcrest Cemetery in Pierceton, Indiana and officiated by Lewis Collier.
